OUR JOURNEY…

Indesign Furniture blossomed from an Ecommerce venture in the UK back in 2012.

Travelling the world can open a door of possibilities and intense inspiration. It can give you ideas and encouragement to do something you never thought you would. The company was born after my wife Aimee and I explored India and discovered the traditional woodworking methods and beautiful, sustainable furniture that could be found there. Just a few weeks later, we found ourselves back in India, with little to no experience in the furniture industry, embarking on a quest to source furniture products. We soon realised it wasn’t without its challenges. We witnessed fellow buyers leaving due to various issues, from inconsistent manufacturing processes to a range of unforeseen hurdles. From that point on, we understood that this might not have been the easiest path we had chosen, given the shared struggles faced by factories of all sizes.

This didn’t deter us. We took the hard lessons to heart, evolving into a reputable global furniture design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality control agency. Through our own hands-on education in crafting and marketing Indian furniture, we’ve become a multi-million pound turnover enterprise. Nothing beats the lessons learned from experience. Establishing a robust infrastructure and gaining the trust of some of the world’s leading brands to oversee their entire manufacturing process in India has been a true triumph. Our exclusive partnership with trusted Indian factories sets us apart as specialists in our field.

13 years later we are still going as strong as ever and constantly expanding our network across the globe. Relationships have been built, memories have been made but most importantly, the journey continues…
